February Home Sales in Hawthorne CA

Homes, townhomes and condos that sold in  Hawthorne during February 2022

February 2022 was a busier month in terms of the number of homes closing escrow in the city of Hawthorne.  There were 24 closed sales compared with only 15 properties selling in January.   That’s still a low number for Hawthorne but a big improvement from January.

The average “asking” price was $796,542 with the average sold price at $813,427 meaning that, in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. The average price per foot was $679.

Two of the 24 home sales were in the gated community of Three Sixty.  One was a fairly rare “loft” unit at 5550 Boardwalk that sold quickly and closed at $775,000 and the other was a 3rd floor single level condo in the Flats that sold for a pretty amazing $970,000.    See how that compares with other months on our Hawthorne real estate market trends and statistics page.

Hawthorne CA December Real Estate Recap

Let’s take a quick look at the December home sales number for December 2021.   There were 32 home, townhome and condo sales in all of Hawthorne CA during the month which was a bit lower than the 42 sold homes during the prior December.  The median price of the sold homes was  $909,000 and homes averaged only 17 days on the market before going into pending status.

14 of the home sales were in the Hollyglen, Del Aire or Wiseburn areas, and 2 of the homes were in Three Sixty.  View the recent home sales in Three Sixty South Bay.

2021 Year in Review – See All of the Homes that Sold in Three Sixty This Past Year

As we recently noted, 2021 was not only a great year for home sales in the gated community of Three Sixty in Hollyglen, Hawthorne….it was the first year in which the average price of the homes that sold exceeded $1,000,000.  There were 43 on market360 open houses home sales, with several others selling off market, during 2021.  The median list price was $1,009,000 and the median sold price was just over $1,047,000.

Homes averaged only 11 days on the market before going into escrow which is an incredible stat.  The lowest price sale of the year was $625,000 for a studio condo in the Flats(marketed as a one bedroom) with just under 1,000 square feet and the highest price sale of the year was $1,650,000 for a very large single family style home in the Terraces.  Take a look below at all of the homes that sold last year!
