The Hawthorne real estate market was alive and well once again in October. There were 18 homes that closed escrow compared with a busy 22 in September.
The average list pricefor the homes that sold was $912,144 with the average sale price at $902,061. This was a drop from September’s $949,167 average price.
$676 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged a fairly lengthy 71 days on market before going into escrow.
Unfortunately none of the home sales were located in the gated community of Three Sixty at South Bay although 6 of the homes were in the Hollyglen/Del Aire neighborhoods of Hawthorne.

As we head into November, here’s a look at everything on the market this year (not including homes that were cancelled or withdrawn from the market) in Three Sixty South Bay. The year started off very slow with the first home sale not occuring until February. Things picked up a bit with a busy spring and summer but a slower fall. As of this post there are 3 homes on the market with all three having been on the market for quite a while.

The home was listed by Bryan Suarez – Anvil Real Estate.

It’s been a slower start to fall in the gated community of Three Sixty with a few homes sitting on the market and numerous price improvements. All things that were unheard of not long ago, but the market is shifting a bit. Still a great time to be a seller but it’s getting back towards a more normalized market without the buying frenzy.
The latest home to close escrow was a 2 bedroom multi-level townhome in the “Courts”. This was a well located townhome away from any traffic noise on the El Segundo Blvd side of the community.
The home was listed by Holly Danna of Compass.
The home was a 2 bedroom “residence one layout in the Courts” with dual suites on the top floor making for a very large and open main living level.
The home last sold in 2017 for $720,000.
