18 Home Sales in Hawthorne at an $866,444 Average PriceTownhomes at 5447 Strand in Three Sixty at South Bay

Welcome to the November 2023 real estate recap for home sales in  Hawthorne CA.  The number of homes that closed escrow was pretty typical with 18 condo, townhome and home sales during the month.  Two of the 18 were in the gated community of Three Sixty.  The first was a 1 bedroom top floor condo at 13032 Union Ave $401 that had been on the market for a while that sold at $840,000.   The other was a 2 bedroom “Row” townhome at 12824 City Dr #105 that closed at $960,000.

The average “asking” price was $861,661 with the average sold price at $866,444 which was quite a bit below the October average sales price of $940,687.

The average price per foot was $647 with the average days on market 33 which was slightly below the 34 in the prior two months.

Hawthorne CA Real Estate Market Review – May at a Glance

Let’s take a quick look at the month that was for real estate in Hawthorne CA.

May 2023 was solid month with 23 homes sold in Hawthorne at a median sales price of $835,000.  Homes averaged only 36 days on market and the average price per square foot was $610.  Unfortunately none of the home sales during last month were in the gated community of Three Sixty.

Hawthorne Home Sales and Prices in September

It was a slightly slower month for closed home sales in Hawthorne CA with 26 closed sales during September.

The average “asking” price was $971,746 while the average sales price at $962,885 meaning that, in general, homes sold lower than the full price. The average price per foot was $657 and average days on market was a brief 26 before going into escrow.

There were 5 home sales in  the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay which was especially impressive given the lower number of overall sales in Hollyglen and Hawthorne.

May Home Sales in Hawthorne CA

See the Homes that Sold Hawthorne during May 2022

It was a busy month for closed home sales in Hawthorne with 25 closed sales during may which was slightly down from the 27 home sales in April.

The average “list” price was $912,228 with the average sold price at $988,136 meaning that, in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. The average price per foot was $722 and average days on market was a very short 11 before going into escrow. 

3 of the sales were in  Three Sixty South Bay and 1 was in Fusion South Bay.  The top home price of the month was an amazing $1,602,000 for a single family home at 13317 Hansworth Ave in Hollyglen.

February Home Sales in Hawthorne CA

Homes, townhomes and condos that sold in  Hawthorne during February 2022

February 2022 was a busier month in terms of the number of homes closing escrow in the city of Hawthorne.  There were 24 closed sales compared with only 15 properties selling in January.   That’s still a low number for Hawthorne but a big improvement from January.

The average “asking” price was $796,542 with the average sold price at $813,427 meaning that, in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. The average price per foot was $679.

Two of the 24 home sales were in the gated community of Three Sixty.  One was a fairly rare “loft” unit at 5550 Boardwalk that sold quickly and closed at $775,000 and the other was a 3rd floor single level condo in the Flats that sold for a pretty amazing $970,000.    See how that compares with other months on our Hawthorne real estate market trends and statistics page.
