Welcome to the neighborhoods of north Torrance.  As the name implies north Torrance is the neighborhoods furthest to the north and generally consist of the areas in between 190th and Artesia.  From a real estate perspective north Torrance actually consists of two areas:  North Torrance West located west of Crenshaw Blvd and north Torrance east ranging from Crenshaw Blvd to the city of Gardena.

Most north Torrance neighborhoods have a nice and safe look and feel, similar to the more expensive neighborhoods of west Torrance and Southwood.

The majority of the neighborhoods consist primarily of single family homes built in the 1940s and 50s but there are multi-unit properties and apartment buildings found on the busier streets.

Given the location furthest north, the area enjoys some shorter commutes than other areas along with convenient freeway access.
